Casting.az
Casting.az is Azerbaijan's first dedicated casting platform, connecting actors and aspiring performers with directors, producers, and brands in one place. The platform lets talent build detailed profiles — with physical attributes, skills, languages, and portfolio media — while casting professionals search and filter through a growing database of registered actors across Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Built for a market that previously ran on personal networks and scattered contacts, casting.az turns talent discovery into a structured, searchable process.
We designed and built the platform end-to-end, from actor and casting-director user flows to the underlying data architecture. Key elements included a granular multi-criteria search and filtering system (covering physical traits, skills, languages, and content categories), phone-based OTP authentication, multilingual support across Azerbaijani, Turkish, and other languages, and a ratings and profile-ranking system to surface top talent. We also built out the admin and content layer — including a blog and FAQ system — so the client's team can manage the platform independently going forward.
